Here are a few photos from our field trip last week! The kids LOVED learning all about the pond animals!
Here is an update for the week!
We will begin learning about ponds and pond animals! In writing, students will begin a non-fiction pond animal writing journal! In math we are continuing to learn about teen numbers and practice addition and subtraction! There will be a math test next Thursday. I will be sending home practice pages for your child this week!
We have music for the special! (Students will not have a special on Thursday because of the field trip!)
*Our field trip is this Thursday! I am very excited for the day. Please remember to send your child in appropriate clothes and also to have him/her bring a brown bag lunch! If you are a parent who is planning on attending, I will have direction sheets for you on Thursday. Due to the limited space on the bus, parents are asked to drive separately!
We still have a few kiddos who have not brought in money yet for the field trip. The cost is four dollars!
The “Just Write” Celebration is on May 17th and will include a classroom awards ceremony as well! It is from 2-3!
Miss Brown 🙂
This week will continue to learn about plants. We will also continue to work on our “Just Write” pieces for writing! Just a few reminders:
Our field trip will be on May 10th…if you have not sent in your child’s money for the field trip, please do so!
Our specials this week are art and music!
We are looking forward to a great week!
Miss Brown 🙂
